Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S10, S10 + and S10e phones
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10e during the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of the first Galaxy S phone.

The Galaxy S10 is very much on the outside side, but it is different internally. It features Corning Glass 6, which is manufactured by Corning and supports the IP68 water resistance standard, which can withstand submerging 1.5 meters deep for up to half an hour.

Corning claims that the glass carries up to 15 consecutive falls of one meter high on coarse surfaces and is twice as strong as Gorilla Glass 5 glass used to protect S9 devices.

Samsung has moved away from the iris scanner, a trademark in the Galaxy S and Note series since 2016, with an ambient light sensor and earpiece. Perhaps the most striking is the 6 mm hole in the upper right corner, To accommodate the front camera.

Samsung is launching the design name "Infinity-O", which was first introduced on the Samsung Galaxy A8 series of medium-sized phones launched in January.

The slot on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e takes the form of a perfect circle. Both phones have one front camera, while the slot expands on the Galaxy S10 + to accommodate a dual front camera.

The Galaxy S10 comes with a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels and an HD 550-inch HDR resolution.

The Galaxy S10 + comes with a 6.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a density of 438 pixels per inch, while the Galaxy S10e comes with a 5.8-inch screen with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels and a density of 522 pixels per inch.

Samsung first used an electrostatic fingerprint sensor embedded under the display glass on the Galaxy S10 and S10 + phones, while the S10e is tuned to an electrostatic sensor, but has a wake-up button with a capacitor scanner.

There is a three-sensor camera and LED flash around the back of the S10 and S10 +, and a dual sensor camera at the back of the S10e. For the lower parts of the phones, there is a USB Type C port, microphone, 3.5 mm headphone jack, With earpiece to provide stereo sound.

The rear camera for the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus comes with a basic 12 megapixel lens with a variable f1.5 / 2.4 slot with optical image stabilization, a 16 megapixel ultra-wide lens with a f2.2 slot, a 12 megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom and aperture f2. 4, with optical image stabilization and automatic focus phase detection.

The rear camera of the Galaxy S10e comes with a basic 12-megapixel lens with a variable f1.5 / 2.4 slot and a 16-megapixel super-wide lens with an f2.2 slot.

The automatic mode in the camera application automatically switches to f / 1.5 when ambient light drops to a certain level, and Scene Detection adjusts color settings such as contrast, white balance and HDR capability based on landscapes, people, animals and objects within the frame.

The camera application recommends switching to a very wide-angle lens when appropriate, adjusting photo modes, sulphonic images, panoramas, and much more.

The camera offers a faster and more accurate version of Samsung Dual Pixel technology to reduce multi-spectral interference. As with S9 and Note 9, the S10 series improves the image by capturing 12 frames per image, dividing them into three groups,.

The S10e and S10 have a 10-megapixel front camera with an f / 1.9 slot, while the S10 + has a dual front camera with a 10-megapixel lens with an f / 1.9 and an 8-megapixel lens with an f / 2.4 slot.

When it comes to video, the S10 series can record 4K video with optional HRD10 + support, and Super Slow-Mo motion videos can record 960 frames per second.

All phones in the S10 series play stereo sound through the earpiece and speaker, which are tuned by AKG Acoustics, with DSD support and Dolby's Atmos 3D surround sound technology.

The S10 and S10 + are powered by the Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855 processors, with North America, Latin America, Hong Kong, China, and Japan getting the Qualcomm processor, while the rest of the world gets the Samsung processor.

All smartphones support Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.

The Galaxy S10e has a 3100mAh battery, while the Galaxy S10 has a 3400mAh battery and the Galaxy S10 + has a 4100mAh battery.
